Mission Statement

To be the informational and professional resource for all NYSNA Members who provide school meals that contribute to the improvement of the optimal heath, nutrition, and education of school children to reduce food insecurity. 

Who We Are

We are a cohesive group of school nutrition employees, managers, directors, registered dietitians, nutritionists, and industry members in New York State committed to ensuring that all students have access to healthy meals.

What We Do

We provide information, services, and continuing education to school nutrition and food service professionals in New York State. We sponsor conferences where attendees receive educational opportunities through workshops, speakers, and exhibits showcasing the latest innovative food service and nutrition trends. The most current regulations and issues in school nutrition are addressed at these events.
